The conference will be held in Sumy, Ukraine, May 6-9, 2008 on the base of a recreation center.

Conference topics. The topics of the conference: theoretical problems, case studies, methodology, cooperation examples, environmental education, NGO activities and so on.

To whom it is addressed. The conference is directed to: students, young researchers, representatives of youth organizations and NGOs.

Conference language. The official conference language is English.

Conference Place

The conference will take place at the recreation center near Sumy and besides work all participants will have a chance to present their countries and cities during the conference cultural program. Please, take your national foodstuffs,and other possible peculiarities to share your genuine culture with other participants.

Deadlines

Deadline is April 9, 2008. Note this is the final date after which no more applications will be accepted. After this day we will send official invitations. All (application forms) filled in English should be sent to the Organising Committee before March 20, 2008. Please, send all the documents by e-mail or usual mail. The abstracts will be published in the conference digest.

The form has to include the abstract of your presentation (2 pages A5 in English including pictures, formulas and tables). Form: MSWord, Times New Roman 10, 1.0 interval for lines, from above - 15, form below - 15, inside - 15, outside - 15. Indent at the top of page is 0,75.

Note! Pages are not numbered

The abstracts have to be composed in the following way:

  • a title of the paper - with capital letters symmetrically to the text; Arial 11;
  • Surname, given name(s) of the authors, organization, country - in 1 interval, in the right corner of the paper; Times New Roman 10; Surname - bold and Cyrillic; organization and country - Cyrillic.
  • The abstracts of the presentation - in 1 interval; Times New Roman 10.

You can reach Sumy by train or bus from Kiev. Additional information you can find in "Travel tips to Ukraine". According to your wish you can be met in Kiev by a representative. For this possibility inform your arrival date, please.

Conference Fee

The conference fee for participants from the countries of the former USSR (Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Armenia etc.):

  • 150 ukr. hryvnas in case of payment by April, 1;
  • 200 ukr. hryvnas in case of payment during registration in Sumy (May, 6) .

For foreign participants:

  • US$ 30 in case of payment by April, 1;
  • US$ 40 in case of payment during registration in Sumy (May, 6) .

It includes meals, accommodation, conference materials, local transport, excursions.

To confirm your participation by e-mail or by telephone by April, 9 (without fall!).
